At CFFFL, we strive to provide a fair and transparent refund policy for our participants. Please review the following guidelines regarding refunds:
Full refund window: June 1, 2025 – August 11, 2025: Participants who request a refund prior to the full refund deadline, will be eligible for a full refund of their registration fee. To initiate the refund process, please email your refund request to info@cyffl.ca. Include your name, contact information, and the player's name in the email.
Partial refund window: August 12, 2025 – August 26, 2025: Participants can request a partial refund during this window. The partial refund will be the original registration fee minus a $50.00 processing fee. To request a partial refund, please email info@cyffl.ca with your name, contact information, and the player's name.
No refunds on or after August 27, 2025: After the deadline, no refunds will be issued. By this time, teams will have been set up, and insurance has been paid. The spot reserved for your player has been confirmed and cannot be transferred.

Refund requests must be emailed to info@cyffl.ca.
Refunds are not available after the season has started.
There are no exceptions to the refund deadline including: Injury to the player, inability to play, dissatisfaction with the program, personal circumstances, weather cancellations, or any other reasons.
Due to insurance requirements, we cannot allow unregistered players to participate, even if they are filling in for an injured player.

Calgary Fall Flag Football League Refund Policy
At the Calgary Fall Flag Football League, our refund policy is designed to provide clear guidelines and timelines for refunds related to participant registration fees in our youth flag football program. Our goals with this policy are:
Transparency: We are committed to clarity throughout the refund process. This includes clearly defined refund windows and eligibility criteria to ensure families are informed about their options.
Equitability: We aim to treat all participants fairly by offering refunds during specified timeframes for any reason. This ensures consistency and fairness for all families.
Operational Responsibility: The Calgary Fall Flag Football League is committed to managing resources effectively to deliver a high-quality, organized program each season.
Full Refunds: Participants are eligible for a full refund of their registration fee, for any reason, during the full refund window. This flexibility is intended to accommodate unexpected changes in participants' plans and to provide peace of mind to families early in the registration period.
Partial Refunds: Partial refunds are available during the designated window and are subject to an administrative fee. This fee helps cover the costs of tasks already performed, including registration processing, rostering, reviewing team and coach requests, responding to inquiries, and maintaining system access for registered participants. This structure helps maintain fairness and program stability.
No Refunds After Deadline: After the refund deadline has passed, no refunds will be issued. By this time, the league has committed to various operational and facility costs tied to registration numbers. These commitments are non-transferable and made based on your original registration. Enforcing this deadline helps ensure fairness among all participants and avoids increased fees in future seasons due to late changes.
